Na Cloigne (The Heads) wins two main awards at the Oireachtas Communication Awards ceremony, held at Farmleigh house last Friday.
The Oireachtas Communication Awards is an annual celebration of the greatest achievements in Irish language media across all Film, TV and Radio stations, Press and Internet. Na Cloigne won two main awards in the field of TV/Film:
Best TV Drama Series and the Best Actor award was won by Darach Ó Dubháin, who plays the lead role in the series. Na Cloigne was directed by Robert Quinn, produced by Ciarán Ó Cofaigh and written by Lauren McKenzie and Darach Ó Scolaí.
The series was produced by ROSG for TG4, The Irish Film Board and the BAI.
