Damning evidence links Seán to the brutal murder in the woods but is he being framed, or is the truth far more disturbing?
In the second part of new TG4 drama Na Cloigne, Seán panics when he finds a woman’s decapitated head in a cloth sack. Seán has no idea how this disturbing package arrived at his home, but he quickly realises he needs to get rid of this damning evidence, and fast!
Seán’s girlfriend Nuala, barmaid Susan and her friend Michelle are all still missing. A young woman’s naked, headless body has been found and now Seán has discovered a head in a sack, but where is the evidence pointing?
Is someone trying to frame Seán for the gruesome murder? Could local poacher Diarmuid who lurks in the woods late at night be the culprit? Is seemingly harmless Jacko in fact a sexual predator or was the murderer one of Seán’s previous conquests driven insane with jealousy?
Perhaps the real answer lies in Seán’s subconscious, where disconcerting visions of evil figures and violent scenes could lead to the truth!
Na Cloigne is directed by Robert Quinn and produced by Ciarán Ó Cofaigh for ROSG, a Conamara based film and television production company.
